Madhur Grama Panchayat, in association with the Government Homeo Dispensary Madhur (AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre), observed International Yoga Day on Tuesday, 23/06/2026, at 10:00 AM at the Madhur Panchayat Community Hall.
In the said program, Dr. Athira Viswanathan M. (Medical Officer, G.H.D. Madhur) delivered the welcome speech. The ceremony, presided over by Smt. Dakshayani K. P., was inaugurated by the honorable Panchayat President, Smt. Sugnani Shanbhogue. Following this, Shri. Madhavan Master (Welfare Standing Committee Chairman), Dr. Satyendra C. D. (Medical Officer, AYUSH P.H.S.C. Madhur), and Smt. Shameema Shareef (Ward 6 Member) offered their felicitations. Smt. Neethu Shijimol (Secretary, Madhur Grama Panchayat) expressed the vote of thanks at the function.
Subsequently, Swapna K. C. (Yoga Instructor, G.H.D. Madhur) conducted a yoga awareness class. A yoga dance performance by yoga students was also held under the leadership of Swapna K. C.
